We will be hosting a lunch-and-learn seminar for XPS users at (MC)2 who have questions and need guidance about analysis of XPS data. Pizza and drinks will be served.
Nancy will give a short presentation about reliable binding energy referencing and an update on the new XPS capabilities coming to (MC)2 in the next few months. Haiping will talk about considerations for peak fitting and calculating oxidation state ratios. Kai will demo binding energy calibration, background subtraction and curve fitting in CASAXPS.
Nancy, Haiping and Kai will be available to answer specific questions about user data.
