(MC)2 will host a lunch-and-learn seminar on TEM data analysis on July 20th, from 12 to 1 PM, in the NCRC Building 32 Auditorium (Room 1501). Current and new lab users are welcome to attend. TEM scientist Dr. Tao Ma will discuss the basics of how to interpret TEM images using Gatan GMS software. The seminar will cover image adjustment, measuring lattice fringes, indexing diffraction patterns, FFT/IFFT, and some tips and tricks. Step-by-step demonstrations will be given with real-world data.
